I was bleeding red today. Caught the back of my hand on the lower corner of the battery tray. About a half an hour later I did it again, same place and really ripped it open! Blood, Sweat, and Tears.Would have loved to have been in the yard watching while it happened! Thought you were bleeding black on the concrete there for awhile.
That’s what I like to do. Just kick back and enjoy the view.....Time to 'pop a top' me thinks & just sit in a chair & stare at it. Let IT know who's the boss!
I bet you, like me with the same result, are being very careful now, with taking those caps off !!!.........................MOI just needed to paint a small bracket, grabbed the can and went out into the in closed breezeway. Didn't have a screwdriver with me so I just took my thumbs and pressed against the top and when she let go it damaged the nozzle. Paints going everywhere, I'm heading for the outside, like getting rid of a live hand grenade in a room full of people! I didn't think I could still run that fast but I did. Over an hour cleaning things up, especially the indoor outdoor carpet. WTF
Kid but you can reply if you feel like itare you talking to the kid or me![]()
I usually just pop those tops off by hitting them on my outside (rear carport) steel table with the can at a slight angle. Works pretty good.I just needed to paint a small bracket, grabbed the can and went out into the in closed breezeway. Yup but gotta walk to the tool box for the screwdriver lol. And the cap's center has done the same to me too plus one time the pickup straw inside the can came off because it wouldn't spray in the upright position....but it sprayed fine upside down so all was not lost. Just a bit harder to put the paint exactly where I wanted it.I've done that many times also. I remember doing that and the cap comes off and the center part broke out and was still on the can! Lol
I'll be useing the screwdriver from now on, that's what that little window in the cap is for. That was a new can and they're not getting any cheaper!
Heck yeah!! Btw, have you ever been up against a bear without a BIG firearm? You'll change your mind on being top of the food chain. Hey, even a pissed off deer will mess you up if not worse.Top of the food chain and we're talking about spray paint cans! Lol
