Who's using NGKs with edelbrock rpm heads

...anyone here? Edelbrock recommends the Champion rc12yc, I have been using the autolite 3924 which cross-reference but want to try some NGKs...Just hard to find the proper one for these heads(engine is a 440, somewhere between 9 and 10 to 1 comp.) Thanks folks
 
I'm running the Stealth heads and run the NGK bkr6e plug, im 90% sure.

I know it's a 6 heat range NGK plug. I tried the bkr6e-11(more gap J hook) and the bkr5e(hotter plug) and always came back to the standard 6e's

That Champion plug is too hot for me. I went with a RC9YC to help reduce engine run-on and detonation. It did help. I have the NGKs in there now in the same heat range as the 9YCs, sorry I do not recall the exact number. Good luck with the car.

I am using the NGK part #5724 spark plugs. These are BKR6E-N-11 NGK code.
They are the shorter ISO 50.5mm (1.98") just slightly shorter than the JIS height 53mm (2.086") plugs. This is a heat range 6 (good for mild 500 HP street engines), pre-gapped to 0.044".

I just found the post from 2012 when I went to the NGK BKR6E-11 spark plug This is part number 2756. It seems to be the same as the 5724 above except for the -N which shows as Strengthened ground electrode design.
 
I am in my 340 with RPM heads, will have to pull a plug to get the number though
 
I run them in my Charger with the 500" stroker with those heads and I have an FR4 V power plug in it. Seems to like them and burns clean. Some run the FR5 which is a colder plug, but I have no issues at 10.1 to 1 running the FR4.

Luckily plugs aren't too expensive, I think I will start with the bkr6e and go from there...
 
Stock heat range for the NGK is a 4. I see people running FR5 or a 5 heat range as well. Just make sure you don't go so cold on the plug range you start fouling them. I seem to have no issues with mine at the stock 4 heat range.
 
Thanks moper, They were cheap enough so I bought some 6's and 5's, gonna start with the colder of the two and see what she likes..
 
I checked mine yesterday due to this discussion and I added the next size up main jets to fatten it up a bit so this weekend I will check them again. I may switch to the FR5 and try them to see how it acts compared to the FR4.
 
Fr5 is probably a good plug for your compression. I run the Bkr6e's on my 10.5 511. Also a very good plug!
