Strange axle splines vs stock splines ?

Not sure if it's Strange or another brand but I've heard that Strange cuts their splines differently than say a 35 spline Dana 60 is cut. Any truth to that?

I have Moser 35 spline axles and Strange spool.

I have this Dana 60 with a spool and the guy isn't sure about using one and might want a stock LSD (which I have) instead and I'm wanting to know if the axles fit it without pulling one and doing a trial fit. Not that hard to pull one and may end up doing that just to be sure. He can also use a spacer with the spool which he says he's ok with using. At first he said he's ok with the spool too. He's sitting on the fence about sending me a deposit to hold it for him so I may just throw it up on the site. I'm ready to sell but he's not ready to commit. Really don't think he knows what he wants....
