winter storage

When the weather gets cold, nights below 32. I'm going put traps out. My thinking the mice have found there home for the winter. By trapping the little btards then I'll rid of them. Will leave a trap or three for late arrivals,

Mice have seem to become the topic also. One thing I make a point of in MY GARAGE, NOTHING for Mice TO EAT. Keep the bird & grass seed, garbage, left over snacks from cruise nights, and any edibles from my hunting gear out & away from where the cars are stored. So far this has been a good recipe for our storage...

Buddy of mine, street rod guy , has 3 enclosed trailers plus his shop building.
the last 2 trailers were bought mainly for winter storage, same deal , tight , no mice, ect.
He told me the trailers were cheaper than building another garage/ shop. Plus if he ever sizes down the herd he can resell the trailers. The best one he uses for out of state shows and travel.

he does not have to worry about working around the finished cars in his shop. made sense to me.

Brought the trailer home today to start getting everything ready to store. If it ever quits raining I'll do something... on the bright side beer tastes great on a rainy day!

Ha ha ha, I didn't say it didn't taste good on other days, just stating the obvious... that's all! Beer tastes good today, yesterday, and more than likely tomorrow

it's gotta be cold, though.
my dad, however, drank it warm.

I am in Mich also. I just pull mine in the garage & sometimes cover it. If still nice enough outside I still drive it off & on all winter long. You know how our winters are. If there is no salt or snow on the roads I still drive it. I don't do anything else to store it or put it away for winter.

My Advice would be, don’t overthink, just go for storage space. Preferably, the one with climate control. And I am suggesting you this from my personal experience. Mine is stored in a climate control storage space. Last year, I had dealt with a similar situation. I was also confused. That’s when one of my friends introduced me to this place. I was a little hesitant at the time. But once, After I checked the place out, I was impressed with their service. Plus their security systems are pretty good. And they are very responsible too. That’s the reason I’ve chosen the same place this year too. So, I would suggest you the same.
