Artistic Endeavors Anyone?

Haven't been artistic in the traditional sense...when I was a kid I was addicted to CARtoons mag and used to draw all the time...
Didn't have an outlet as I got older so I perfected my craft ( I wish I had pics) . I was a pipe bending SOB, I loved running 1/2" 6" EMT, rigid, IMC or Plastibond in a pipe rack or out of sub stations/switch gear. Hated using 3 pc couplings ( unions) they are a used way to often. Never used prebent fittings unless it was 6" because we didn't have a bender that large.
My last big job was at MD Anderson ( before going to work for them), installed 2- 3k double ended substations ,12 different ATSs ,and associated gear & a 750kw generator...
The PMs were impressed as were most of the Facility guys. Now I didn't bend every piece but I had to teach a lot of guys how as I was the GF...It was often referred to as art by others; I was proud of it.
If anyone is ever at Reliant Expo Center and can go into the 1st three Electric Rooms. you'll be able to se my handiwork, ran a lot of buds duct out there too...
 
alot of Nice talented stuff here , WTG guys,, they all look good.. except the wet spots , or is it for territory?? .. Thats something no one can ever take away from you.. I Draw on occassion as well .. Nothing like the years past though..

When building our home I took a liking to building with natural stones found on the property then woodworking. I'm pretty well burned out on all of it now lol.

Kids toy boxes, tried to put cool plaque on them too.

The golfer was carved for my dad and given to him for Christmas - when he passed, his wife gave it back to me . . . that was the first wood carving I ever did . . .
 
Not a lot of artsy stuff for me.. Little wood working and nothing compared to 747! That's awesome by the way! I tie some flies to sell from time to time, and most artsy thing is play guitar.
Here's a table I built but it wasn't quite finished.

Did these for some friends. It's called blank comic cover variants. The cover is blank with just the comic title for artists to design their own covers. I'm a huge comic fan. I wish I would have pursued it when I was younger.

I think that something as simple as a climbing rope in the living room could be the catalyst for out of the box thinking for your kids. We had motorcycles and engine rebuilding in our living room. All of us are creative and weird.

Sometimes the only way a kid can learn to kick down barriers is by watching Dad do it first.
