How many of us drove muscle cars when they were new, recently purchased off the dealer's showroom floor? Post your experiences here:
Personally, I took my first driver's license practical (driving) test in a new 1971 Road Runner 383 automatic my parents just bought. Air grabber, spoilers, G60-15 Polyglass GT, rallye rims, Bahama Yellow. Then I drove it to high school every day for two years as a junior and senior (50 mile round trip to a private school). It was sold to a friend/neighbor when I graduated from high school ($2,000). Chick magnet? Never had a girl in the car (except for a sibling).
Today, I drive a '72 Bahama Yellow Satellite Sebring Plus (see foto), which seems identical to the new '71 RR I will never forget.
P.S. I know you all won't listen to me, but please try NOT to post here unless you really drove a NEW pre-1980 B-Body. Thank you.
