Brake pedal cut, lengthened and rewelded with the TIG.... too bad I can’t do this with other things that could use another 1.75” lol.

Brake assembly installed along with the go pedal...this was an unplanned three day interruption to the schedule

lol. Now, on to the steering column.

So the after hacking the dash frame up into two large pieces and several small ones, it’s back in with the pad. The upper portion will be welded into the car. It holds the dash pad. The rest of the dash is configured to be removable if the need arrises. I still have plenty of work to do to it and some bracing to be added back in. The dash pad needs to be nice and soft to squeeze in between the bars!

More hacking... gotta get the AC vents in! A big thanks to MarkB for providing some sweet AC parts and an original AC dash frame for a guide! Some simple duct tape templates, a whack or 8 from the cutoff wheel and we’re chillin...
Notice the Dzus fasteners in the top. Seven fasteners and the dash is out.

Finished up the passenger side intercooler plumbing. It was real tight. I had to wait for a cast aluminum elbow to show up. Nothing else was going to work.

You’ll have it figured out when you come to do mine. :D You need an excuse to come freeze in Canada.
