1970 casting, I'm pretty sure the 0202 designates the 2.02 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust but I wouldn't take an oath on that. Do the heads have an X or J on them?

Do you have a picture of it
I do on my instagram. @DrWalkway i have alot of trouble getting pics up on this site. Im going to guess that they are the 202 heads since this motor supposedly came from a 70 duster 340. Im being told those came with thr 340 T/A motor

T/A & AAR 340 engines came with the moved pushrod hole head and are very rare. I highly doubt you have them.
Why???
Because any FOOL that knows he has them would sell them to another for huge cash.

I thought there may have a cleaner picture but I put the dirty one up on instagram. It’s -16 here in central Il so a cleaner picture will have to wait a few days haha

all X heads had the 2.02 intake valves and some J. There should be an X or J stamped on the intake runners if you have them

Hmm my phone seems to b adding these much simpler than the past here are several pics that I already had but it’s still -10 so fresh pics will wait lol

Yeah looking at the pics again I was even worn on the number it looks like it’s 9020 not 2020 so idk what that little plate means but I don’t think it helps us Id these. but it does look like the pushrods may be offset but I’ll need to look much closer to tell

Letter head stamping ID is on the outside of the head by the spark plug on ether end of the head.

So what does that number on that plate mean? Obviously some sort of I’d number but are there any numbers to match it too?

Casting ID numbers. Useless to me. The letter ID followed by valve size and condition is all I would need to know for purchase or useage.

No purchases I’ve owned it for years but never dove into it. When I bought the car I always assumed it was stock with the 318 it was supposed to have lol I’m just now starting to discover everything the previous owner did so far I’ve figured out that the 904 trans that should be there has been replaced with a 727 torqueflite from 1972 the 8 1/4 read end has been replaced with an 8 3/4 suregrip and the 318 was pulled for a 1970 340

TA heads would not have stamped rockers.
X or J will be obvious at the spakplug hole

And factory ac was pulled off. It took me a while to figure that one out but The previous owner also replaced the Hood with the ramcharger(N96fresh air) hood and I’ve read that ac compressor gets in the way
