Not only do I have a massive headache from the constant yammering of the auctioneer, but now I'm quite convinced that my non-numbers matching slant six 65 valiant MUST be worth 500k now. Stupid prices supported by a bunch of drunk rich guys that have never even flared a brake line. We suffer because of shows like this. Parts cars become canidates for clones, parts and pieces dry up and prices of everything go thru the damn roof. Cable TV makes it too easy. 200 channels and this was the only thing that held my interest. The little honey writing on the windshield with the camera shoved up her *** helped my suffering some.....

Like I said in a longer post - it gives me some encouragement that our hobby isn’t dying and the price of my GTX is up not down.

it was really something to see a 65 Malibu SS 396 sell for damn near DOUBLE what the original documented HEMI 68 charger sold for. those Chevies are really bringing the money this year

I enjoy seeing the cars and listening to the auctioneers. I have heard a lot worse auctioneers....

Exactly!

On another note, I can barely stand the commercials and blah blah blah watching Barrett Jackson auctions on my DVR that allows me to ffwd through the commercials and blah blah blah.

She was cute, and YES, DVR then speed thru non interesting brands and commercials cuts a three hour broadcast to about one. When one of the commentators goes off just hit the button.....Dave

The commercials were killing me also. Hemi Cuda with 7300 miles only went for 175,000.00. Some customized Vettes went for double that. YES, the chick writing on the sold stickers was killing me. GREAT ***!

Saw a 69 H code RoadRunner dressed up as a Hemi go for 80k.

Some guy with 10 kids and a midlife crisis must have gotten an early tax return

Thanks god for my DVR....makes a four hou show into less an hour show after fast forwarding thru the four C's (commercials, corvettes, chevelles, camaros...)

I attended my first BJ auction 2 years ago in CT and I couldn't stand being in the arena for more than 20 minutes. It was the auctioneer is what drove me out of there.

Are they doing it up there again ? I'd like to go. I'll bring ear plugs.
