I am estimated the pair of 915 heads to weigh 90-95 pounds.

What's the best way to ship?

Right now I am going to bubble wrap and double up some shipping boxes.

Will UPS take them?

Thanks for help.

I use Fastenal store to store, just a box will work for them it goes on a pallet you need to do a 3pl request on them first to get a quote. Bet 50 or under.

Fill it out and get a quote I use them all the time need the zips of both stores. Usually .50-$1 a pound, do sun test sets weekly with them, never a issue. Gets picked up by the truck, then to the warehouse then out on the next truck had stuff from 2 days to two weeks.

Did a slant head a while ago it was $65 cross country.

I built wooden boxes and shipped USPS. They were the cheapest by far. Just don’t box them together, it’s to heavy.

Yes postal service is usually the cheapest way to go. But I think their weight limit is a hundred pounds

Wish USPS had bigger 'if it fits it ships' boxes. For something heavy, reinforce them and tape the snot out of the box. All 50 states= one price based on size with a 70 lb weight limit. I've even built wood boxes and then put it into one of those 'if it fits' boxes. They just don't have anything big enough for heads :(

I’m not just suggesting USPS, I HAVE shipped heads that way. Just box them separately and they won’t be to heavy.

Found these crates at Lowes this morning and will check measurement of heads before I buy (15 bucks each). Looks like I can screw the lids and duck tape the hell out of it. And pad the inside.
What do you all think?

USPS has a 70 lb. limit, so they will definitely have to be separate. I found this out the hard way, and had to rebox my **** in line at the post office. Also, they will beat the living hell out of your box, so reinforce and pad the hell out of it. They must literally throw these boxes even if you write fragile and glass on it. They are in the business to make money, not care for your package.

Heres what I did to ship bb heads. I went to u haul and got 2 kitchen plate boxes. They were the right length width etc
I then got several pieces of the blue heavy duty foam board used for construction. I put 2 pieces on the bottom and one on either end then I wrapped each head with saran wrap plastic set them in, then used a can of spray foam to cover it. Then used the good packing tape stuff with the fibers in it and wrapped the daylights out of each box. Made the trip via fed ex from central Illinois to Montana with no problem. Cost me around $160.00 to ship and insure
