Chris from Berchtesgaden / Bavaria

Stunning charger...you did a fantastic job! I traveled to Switzerland last year to visit family living there. We also went to Germany, Austria and Lichtenstein. It's always a treat traveling to Europe. You are all so kind and welcoming. Maybe one day I'll pack my bags and move there permanently

Hello Chris!
I can't help you with the Gateway questions, but I look at them sometimes and think 'WOW, that's pricey'.

Hey guys, thank you for the great welcome!
Thank you !
If somebody comes to Bavaria, get in touch and we will drink a Bavarian beer :drinks:

Welcome aboard. Spent a couple years in Frankfurt back in the late 80s. I miss the autobahn!!

Weihenstephan is also good
my favorite beer is Schönramer, it's a small brewery near me.
An insider tip ;-)

Weihenstephan is getting more difficult to get. There is a restaurant near me that serves it for $8/ bottle.
Other wise It has to be purchased from large town liquor stores.

With us a beer costs about $ 3.30 in a restaurant.
Can I pay my Hemi dream car in beer? :D
Most domestic bottles cost $3 in Midwest restaurants.
But Budweiser taste like horse urine when compared to Weihenstephan.
I usually order a Heineken with my meal.

My mother is 100% German descendant. All of her grandparents spoke German as a first language. Here in the Midwestern U.S. probably close to 50% of us are of at least partial German descent.

Hi Guys,
really a very warm and nice welcome!
I'm happy to meet Moparfans from around the world here in the forum, so the world is getting small.

Best regards Chris
