Where would I find the build dateDepends on when his car was built. Chrysler did lots of undocumented maneuvering when using up engines and other parts during a model year change. It wasn't just limited to "my engine should be orange but its blue!" That's not the 11 inch unsilenced unit, but it still may have came from the factory.
Yea he has owned the 68 since 74. Original 55,800 miles. My sister & I might end up selling it & want to get the right air cleaner for it.

Yep you are right The one on my dads 67 GTX is the same except for the dual snorkles on it.that is the big unsilenced cleaner that came on my 68.....I have one from a 67 also, same thing but with dual snorkles
