Any one ever bought a windshield made by AMD? Need to replace mine in my 64 Polara. Who has bought a good fitting one and who did you buy from? Thanks.

Yes, I have for a 69 charger.

I had no problems with fitnent or trim fitment either....

Ok, thanks. Have talked with a few people that bought from other suppliers and had problems with fitment. 69 Charger, one of my favorite Mopars.....

Bought one for a 67 (What range does that cover off hand?)
Anyway, I do believe it was a couple of thousands thicker than an off brand Chinese one.
I picked it up directly at AMD.
Not much help there.

Who, me?
If so, yes.
I measured it against the original dimensions.
It was correct.
The pentastar is there as well.

I have an AMD windshield in my ‘64 Polara. I had a glass guy install it, and he didn’t mention any issues with fitment. I used a PRP gasket. The glass looks great, it’s a little “wavier” than the stock one, but it’s barely noticeable. I also have a local glass shop that can get other aftermarket windshields; they’re usually from Pilkington. If you’re interested, we deal with AMD! Also have gaskets in stock.

I have a new gasket and all the new molding clips. The gasket is from Precision Replacement Parts. Any one bought from them? Any problems?

Never caught the fact you said PRP, just woke up, all cylinders are not running yet...

Haha, it’s cool... I’m on my phone so it was easier than typing it out. I think the gaskets are great. The car never really gets wet, so I can’t say with 100% confidence it doesn’t leak, but I don’t see why it would. It’s a nice and pliable gasket. And again, I had a glass guy do the install, and he said everything went smoothly! (I reinstalled the trim)

Now I am firing on all eight. Glad to hear all went well with your install, hope mine goes as good....Thanks for all the info guys....

Measured my beat up OE and the AMD I bought for my '69 Bee before installation. Exact same thickness and fit like a glove.

I have an AMD windshield on my 67. there was a considerable gap in the lower corners. Had to fill that area with a bunch of silicone. That being said it may be the car more than the windshield.
