Ever increasing threat of home invasion, so I bought:

Kimber Micro 9...Appx 4" high, 6" long...Nice piece!
I have my FN 5.7, at 5.7" high and 8.2" long, I got a IWB holster made of leather and Kydex, and being Inside the Waist Band given my size (6' 3" 260#) my "bulk" keeps it from printing too badly...
Having said that, it is still a bit large for civilian every day concealed carry, especially wearing shorts and a button up short sleeve shirt or scrubs top, so I just got this:
Ruger LCP II .380

and with the pocket holster, I carry it like my wallet, in other words EVERYWHERE my CC permit allows me to carry legally, always.
That is what I was looking for in an everyday, all the time carry.
Still love the 5.7, but it isn't always on me.

One of my quirks is that I will not carry a hammerless pistol.

Hopefully you carry your wallet in your front pocket, rear pockets are easily picked.

I do. Wallet on one side, LCP II on the other. It's perfect! The pocket holster NEVER comes out with it when I draw. I stopped carrying my wallet in my rear pocket over 10 years ago. Rear pocket wallet carry when you spend a good bit of time driving or sitting really can mess up your sciatic nerve and your lower back.

Shouldn't need more than 7 rounds + extra mag.
Unless your going into battle.

7 in the LCP II, and yes, I would hope that would be more than enough. Still, I like the 20 rd cap in the 5.7.
But, the gun you have on you is better than the one in your drawer/safe/etc...

So instead of "bang-bang" it goes "pew-pew"

Well........ the neighbors said a gun went bang - bang ....... I was magically out side already and they all came running to me to tell me so I could find out what was going on ! The 22 is fairly loud

You said it was "threaded for a can". I assumed you mean a suppressor, and if utilized, it would go "pew-pew" :)

Yeah that cost more money and then a god long wait . I'll get one eventually.

I am about to go through that process for the first time. I want a suppressor for a future AR-15 platform "pistol" in 300 Blackout. I figure I'll get the federal tax stamp process started and by the time that is finished I can buy my "pistol".

This is a kit from delta tac not bad was $280 ish no bcg or lower so about $400 all in

it's OK I don't see the hyp about the ar pistol s if I'm grabbing a gun I'm not grabbing this one first ! But to each his own I have fun building them

I finally have a new one to the collection to post. My brother in law back home in Oklahoma is always buying and searching for unique guns. He called me the other day as he knew I'd been looking for a smith and Wesson model 66.
I'm going back home for a visit next week to pick this baby up!
Can't wait to shoot it. Check out the grips!! Has anyone ever seen a model 66 with these grips?
