Randolph Scott?....no..there was a guy from southern California that had gotten a '68 road runner...the car had sat in a guys yard, surrounded by tons of junk, he finally got the car out, and was doing work on the car and that was the last I remember. Probably been a couple years ago.

I thought that was the one in Florida? Car was filled with dead vegetation and packed in behind a ton of junk in a back lot? Got it pulled out and towed home and was quite rust free? He was given the car for free in payment for helping this guy clean up his yard because the state was involved.

that sure sounds like the story...but I thought it was on the west coast....

There is a thread on here where a guy got a Orange 68 RR for free. Was buried in junk i Believe.

that's the one
I was following his posts. It was in California as I recall. . He got it home and was working on it. Don't remember how far he got , but it was one heck of a find. Guy didn't seem to know much about Mopars or what he had. My bet is someone offered him a few bucks and his enthusiasm was lost to measley money................................MO

Been just over a year since he's been on the site......

That thread turned out to be a teaser. Wonder what happened to the car?

I don't recall the car of him. I did however get my 70' Road Rubber for free also. Not bragging, just saying. Sometimes it still pays to inquire when you see them.
