Talk about hanging laundry out to dry. This is my idea of a cool ride.A not quite so beatup street-legal version, though. (Foster Imposters/Faster Farms)

Greetings Bladecutter! I just got home from a San Francisco Bay Area vacation. I visited the San Francisco City Hall where my girl cousin married her wife recently. (Only in America!)Gee, maybe because the mustangs were 390's & the mopes were 440's....HELLO!No, I didn’t read about the film cars back then, but I have heard over the years that the Charger completely out gunned the Stang. Not surprising.Did any of u read the Saturday evening post (back in the day) , that had an article about how much faster the "show room stock" dodge was than the car Mcqueen built himself ? They were all in amazement , producers, cast and Mcqueen himself. The stang was a little faster in the corners, but quickly got ate up on straighter roads. It was in the script for the charger to get torn up.Ever wonder why the Stang was all beat/dented in that movie? Wasn’t it filmed in April 1968 and the cars were not even a year old? Good movie though. I loved seeing all the hubcaps keep flying off.
