So, time to install a decent set of spark plug wires on the ol' 440. The kind you have to custom cut and so forth.
No big deal, done it a hundred times, right?
Remember, this is me we're talking about...

Study the picture below of the finished product. Who can spot the teeny tiny mistake I made first?

The answer we were looking for is "That dummy Ed wired the thing up for CLOCKWISE rotation, not the 440's correct COUNTER-CLOCKWISE rotation."
Perfectly, I might add.
The truly sad part is the whole time I was out in the shop, sweating my *** off (it's friggin HOT these days) I had in the back of my mind "counter-clockwise, Ed".
I get it done finally and go in the house, directly to the shower....
and then it hit me:
I did what?

The only saving grace was that I didn't attempt to fire the GTX up whilst wired dumbassedly - and that I figured it out before attempting same.
Bad part was/is - the wires were cut to fit nicely in the WRONG rotation.
Sigh.

Went out this evening and corrected the sitee-ashun:

You know those POS Hedmans came with the car over 7 years ago and haven't changed color one damn bit since?
I keep waiting for them to rust or get thin or something but they refuse.
I think it's because they know how much I HATE them.

Thank you for being humble enough to post this. We all make mistakes, some are simple, others are big boo-boos.
My most common one was forgetting to tighten lug nuts. I never got far before hearing the noise in panic and stopping to investigate.

LOL, or the day I went mopar electronic ignition & said this is easy. Until I keep hearing this weird noise after starting and figure out I’m feeding 12v back to starter relay & keeping starter drive engaged! Yeah, we’re all d—-a—- once in awhile.

I reckon if one doesn't have a good sense of humor about our own screw ups - one will certainly be thrust upon us with age.
In younger years, I'd have probably cussed some, maybe even tossed a tool across the garage or some such if the mood hit just right.
Now I honestly get tickled, especially when I took great care to PERFECTLY screw it up so well.
