Well that day has happened. This is my new GTO (It's really a Tempesr but has been stipped down so far who cares. It was used for drag racing for awhile. I has two new racing seats, a couple of dashboards. Some inside door panels. Engine is a Chevy454. We don't much about but it as headers and a Hi out put ignition. It has that weird drag race shiftier on the floor which I haven't figured out yet. Dual exhaust mufflers that exit in front of the rear wheels. enough about specs, lets see this little lady. Voila!

Man I just sold a gto bumper a few months back I took it in with a ton of trans am parts guy thought it was a 73 trans am nose . I'd rattle can black that beast out and pretend I'm the punisher!!!

That's a 1973 Grand Ams we have 2 one 400 and one 455.

your Pontiac brings back memories, my first car was going to be a 69 road runner but the deal fell through :-(. being the impatient teenager I settled on a 70 Lemans sport. put headers, ignition, dual exhaust, carb, blew the rear doing neutral drops and finally got
T- boned by a pickup. lucky to still be here.nice car !!

My mom had a 59 bonneville with a 389 and 8 lug brake drum/wheels for her first car, when I was about 5.

A friend in HS had a 69 grand prix with a 65 421 transplant.

Wet sanded and buffed red 1967 Pontiac GTO many years ago for my friends neighborhood postman. My friend had 68 charger r/t i had 67 coronet r/t still have it. He took it to the Pontiac nationals, to sell it . I believe it had 400 with three twos. Maybe it was four barrel. Anyway the guys at the national event were asking him why he was selling it , thats a fast car they said. He said no it ain't my friends got big block mopars and there fast.

Still have three Mopars. '69 Charger '71 Charger, '71 Challenger. They are too nice to leave sitting in the driveway. The orange '73 Grand Am with a 400 cost $1,000. The black '73 Grand Am has a 455 and cost $4,500. This Tempest race car cost $2,900. The cheapest of the Mopars is in the low $20K. I'm going to clean the engine on the Tempest and take it to our small town car show on August 3rd. I can't wait to see the reaction!
