I have a 65 Belvedere II that doesn't have a radio antenna. I don't want to put one on the car as I like the clean look.

I am thinking seriously about going to a Retrosound radio, however before I purchase one, I need to address the antenna issue.

Have any of you tried a hidden antenna, (there are several on the market) if so, what results did you have?

Enjoying the sound of the 440, but missing my tunes.

I’ve had good luck with a retro sound model HPA1 from Summit racing on two different customer cars in the past few years. No complaints from them and they sounded great with really good reception. Hidden under the dash up by the dash speaker.

You can install an antenna anywhere. I put mine under the passenger rocker using existing body plugs to feed the cable through. But do you really need a "radio" in this day and age what with bluetooth and all ?!?!? Install a bluetooth speaker somewhere in you car and stream through your phone.

I have done it also radio works fine. I agree with all the new stuff can just put in a speaker Jack for your phone or whatever and not have to buy the radio. Love the picture of the car. Wanting something like that for mine so I can get put on the tee shirt

Contact Butch Hartman in Phoenix, Az. Butch did the cartoon of my car. Very reasonable and good. Butch is on facebook. Thanks for the suggestion about the red/phone. I think I may do something along that line.

I guess I am old school and stuck on the radio thing. However, I agree, the bluetooth and iPhone make more sense.

old school is good i'm the same way.

thanks for the name will look him up and see what he can do for me.

Bought a boat antenna from Walmart, shipped it was less than $3.
Soft antenna, more like an electrical wire, zip tied up behind dash, works without issues.
