Hello from Phoenix, AZ

Back in '94 when I was 20 years old I bought my first muscle car, a 67 Dodge Coronet with a 383/727 and fell in love. Daily drove it for about five years, never did have the money to treat it right and had to sell it when my daughter came along. Fast forward to today, my situation is right for a project and been looking for another Mopar, found it and brought her home. Couldn't be more ecstatic.

As for plans I'm still sifting through this site catching up on all I've missed out on (hello QA1). The motor starts and runs but the trans is shot, not to mention just about everything else. Starting from the ground up....discs, suspension, steering, 440, body work, black paint, etc. I'm excited to save her, she's been neglected for so long I feel like I'm helping save the planet by putting another 50 year old car on the road. It'll end up being a roadrunner clone.

welcome! good looking project. your car, do it to make you happy...but think a minute or two before sticking the bird decals on...Satellites and Belvederes are getting rarer and rarer because of the clones.

Hi Keelue, :welcome:
Big block Satellites are getting scarce, it looks like a great project!

Welcome from West Virginia. Good looking project, I tend to agree with basket case, I would leave it a Satellite but hey, it's your car!

Welcome, my Satellite brother. Do consider keeping it a Satellite, They are now the rarer bird.

Agree 100%. Not every day you come across a Satellite with a 383. Road Runners are everywhere.

Welcome aboard!

Didn't foresee any badges or decals. I guess when I said clone I was thinking more of just a RR hood. But, I am certainly open to keeping it a straight up satellite. I think that'll be a decision more down the road as I gotta get her to start, drive, and stop first.

Thanks all!!

and keep the pics coming! and like I said...make YOUR car to make YOU happy...not me, the guy across the street, etc.and don't let the nit pickers ruin your day. "well that car shouldn't have an A12 hood" don't care, it's mine!

I know, been in the offroad world for the last 12 years or so running K5's. Can't count how many times I heard "don't trim those fenders!", well how am I gonna fit 40's under it without modifying some sheet metal?? I'll make it mine, but now I'm looking at pics like this thinking, damn that looks good

Keelue, I like your last post and I too agree with the earlier posts. We all choose what model Mopar we call our own. Yours is and will be what you desire in spite of others.
From the Pacific Northwest, Welcome to the group of Moparite savers!! :welcome:
