I screwed up & bought a set of msd # 31193 plug wires. They come with the spark plug end boots already molded on the wire. The boots are straight. 5 of them run into the shock towers & steering gear. I've seen an ad for angled replacement ends. But not for Mopar. Seems like angled boots would work for Mopar too ? Has anyone else dealt with this ? Am i better off selling these at a loss, & buying different wires ? At $106 a set, i'm not fond of cutting the boots off. Just emailed Msd, but thought this might be quicker & more insightful. Thank you.

You can't clean them up and exchange them?(that was probably a stupid question lol) the last time I bought msd wires they had 90s on all the plug ends. Hey wait aren't those the multi-angle boots, that you can bend to make work however you need to? They are long though..

I bought them long before i was ready. And from ebay. So the only receipt was email ( which this dumby deleted ). The kit comes with 2 different ends, but they're for the distributor end- not the plug end.

Is the plug end bendable ??? I have no clue.

Aah ok. I think, could be wrong though, those have the multi-angle plug boots. See if there's a spot on the boot an inch or so from the end the plug goes into, that has a harder side and softer side. Pinch it and bend it to the softer side to get the angle you want(you're bending the metal terminal inside). If space is too tight however it still may not be enough to save you..

Yep. I used them to get the proper angles.. I put a plug in the boot and pre bent them make sure you use dielectric grease !

You will find that the best solution is to buy separate replacement wires with a different angle on the boots. They sell them that way - one wire at a time. Just buy what you need which will probably be for the back plugs. I had to custom make the lengths for the rear plugs and the individual wires are 48" before cutting and crimping.
