BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR...

Whoops! Now I see that a member beat me to this earlier today. Sorry for the repeat...

Where I live Coyotes are everyday occurrence. Plenty of Road Runners too. I have always wanted to find a coyote pup( maybe one that lost it's mom) to have as a pet. I think they are cool. I like dogs more that humans.

Shouldn't this be in GD instead of Gen Tech? How is this a technical question? Sorry Dave, you need to know where to post stuff! This could even go into the funny pages!

I just watched "I Was Prey" this week and a woman walking along a nature trail was attacked by a rabid coyote. It tore her all up, leg, arms, then tore half her face off. She got away from it by crawling into a nearby canal. Got across the canal and found a house where she got help. After all of the surgery she also had to go through the rabies shots. The DNR went to the area where she was attacked and found the coyote and shot it.

So yeah, be on the lookout!

Yeah, you're right, I NEED to know where to post stuff. BTW, when did you become a moderator? Do you have a badge to go with all your post California correctness? Actually, I'm really glad to have you watching out for me...

Wow - we have a lot of coyotes where we live. All the women in the area are constantly reporting sightings to the point of adnauseum. I didn’t know they could be that vicious towards humans. Maybe I should be more understanding of those that are always reporting them. We live right above a huge nature park. Not much you can do about them beyond being aware and keeping track of your pets and little kids.

Everyday occurrence around here too, very bad in the next valley over. The RR's here are the ground runnin Quail.
Vermin, they are nothin but flea bitten vermin! I have a couple neighbors that can't control their F-in yappy yap dogs that I'd like to introduce Wylie to personally! I'd also like to go cap a few myself!

I wasn't aware that they could be that viscous until I saw that show. She told her story and you couldn't believe what she went through trying to get away from it. It was relentless in it's attack and there wasn't anything she could do. I don't believe you would have that problem if it wasn't rabid.

Rabid or not, it's a wild animal with survivalist instincts. And when it's hungry and needs to eat, it's compounded even more so.

Watch what you type mods are everywhere just waiting to pounce on improper posts. Gestapo
