I reviewed testing on the Dodge Charger Source Guide along with a number of documents on the subject.
My power Pak was tested on the bench with a 12V battery and produced 250v AC immediately at the white wire when hooked up but then the voltage drops about 1 volt every 2 -3 seconds or so until I unhooked it at 90v AC. During the testing the unit just gets noticeably warm and if I wait 3-4 minutes and hook it up again it will start again at ~250v AC and then starts to drop volts as previously noted (tried it 3 times).
Is this the capacitor causing the drop or is my transformer or a resistor shot? The writ-ups I reviewed identified replacement part numbers for the named components.
Thanks for your help
