does anybody know if I can use a 1970 b body 440 dip stick with a set of 1969 exhaust manifolds ?

I haven't run factory manifolds in many years, but I did mess with dipsticks recently. If I remember correctly, the 69 dipstick tube bends outward around the exhaust manifold where the 70 style hugs the block & goes between the front & center exhaust passages....so as long as your 69 manifolds have a gap there, sure, it'll fit. I'm talking big block, fyi

I used a couple of 68-70 dipstick tubes & sticks with a 402 pan. all were the same.

Yes

Its a tube it bends. Make it fit. I have yet to see one bent to the correct vehicle configuration or correct length for that matter. You may have to cut the tube to get the stick to read correctly.
