Come on, now. Let's be realistic for a moment here. First of all heroin is an opioid, doesn't make sense for it to be a seperate category. Second, people die from opioid withdrawal syndrome. There is a reason that junkies have to be institutionalized and monitored to come off those drugs. I have an open mind about things, but I'd have to see some pretty hard evidence to support the fact that cigarettes are "harder" to quit.
And if we're going down this rabbit hole, if everyone is looking out for BC why hasn't anyone bashed him for eating fast food yet? Fast food is arguable more dangerous for a persons health and even harder to quit than cigarettes (by these same make-believe standards). Number one killer of Americans is heart disease often attributed to terrible eating habits and lack of exercise. (Just making a point I don't actually care what Mr. Cutter eats)
Honestly, I appreciate what your trying to do (looking out for your friend). It takes guts to voice the unpopular opinion and be the one to call the baby ugly. However, I don't think that the ends justify the means in this case and we could do a better job of relaying useful information instead of scare tactics.
