They aren't all German owned. Jaguar and Land Rover are owned by Tata of India (and it must irk them that a former colony owns some of their car companies). Aston Martin is an independent British company. Lotus is now owned by Proton, a Malaysian car company. And although Vauxhall is owned by German Opel, they are in turn owned by Groupe PSA in France.

The Prince just got snapped today driving without a seatbelt ...only days after crashing.

I know the Queen can drive without one...she is above the Law in the UK. But it sounds like words were exchanged with Philip on this occasion.
