OK, I know this is a dumb question, but which side is which with Super stock springs? Does the extra leaf go on the driver or passenger side? Thanks for your help.

I agree with 33....but I have never liked to use them....

I beg to differ with Cranky. Need to replace mine after 30+ yrs, have no complaints. No road racing on mine though, just normal street & 1/4mi at a time. For me to go back I would have to change frt.sprg hangers now.

I stacked my own springs as I can keep the car low doing it my way. With SS springs, they raised the car too much for my tastes and on some cars, it's hard enough to get plenty of caster in the front end and raising the back isn't what ya want if caster is already at a minimum.

Engine torque raises the left front and makes the right rear squat plus the rear end tries to torque counter clockwise and is the main reason you see the one wheel peel on non SureGrip cars. The biased leaf spring stacking on the passenger side helps control that problem. Even on cars with a SG in the rear end you can sometimes see the tire footprint is more shallow on the right than on the left. Using an air shock or an air bag on the right side will help with this too. The majority of my street cars just 10-15 more PSI in the right side shock made a big difference....
