View attachment 768117 View attachment 768117 Got my 512 stroker almost together, but the top valve cover bolt holes aren't lining up! And Couldn't get the welded up aluminum covers to fit either. The rocker arms were too close to the gasket flange. Tried some chrome , stock shape (MP?) covers and they fit pretty good, other than the 2 top holes being misaligned. Will try to enlarge the 2 top valve cover holes tomorrow. Any ideas?

Sell me the Motor for the price of the valve covers I'll get them to fit. Seriously your going to have to modify a set of steel covers if your comfortable with Tig Welding.

The end rockers need the outer corners radiused to clear the covers. You could also use a set of the inexpensive sheet metal covers. They have inner instead of outer flanges.

We modified them to fit now. Elongated the holes on some stamped steel ones. Now well see if they leak

Good luck Gary I hope you get it...that's one mean looking mill!

Seems to be holding the oil in, so far. May need some rubber washers under the metal ones, to stop a small leak at a bolt hole
