I have a couple of 69 charger fenders that I was thinking about welding the side marker lights up and cutting hole for 68 side lights. Is this the only difference in the two? thanks

This may not make a difference to you, but the only other visible difference that I can think of is the shape of the plate that the hood bumper mounts to.

If I remember correctly, in 69 the hood bumper plates are attached to the fender, and on 68 models the hood bumper plates are attached to the radiator support. I think you would have to remove the hood bumper plates from the 69 fenders, as well as the marker light modification.

Hmmm, you got me thinking now. I'll check mine when I get home.

My 68 front clip from a satellite has the hood bumpers on the radiator support as well. They are on my 69 charger fenders. If I can do it and make it look right, it would keep me from having to buy new AMD fenders. Thanks for all the help.

New AMD 68-69 charger fenders will need work that you can pass onto your children to finish....
