Just curious if anyone did this conversion and what you used (Wildwood etc) and think of it.

I'm interested in how to do this and what parts to search for.

Wildwood makes one and there are others Talon?

I did the swap on my dart.
I went to the local junkyard. Found a diesel truck. Any diesel truck will work because they all use a hydroboost system.
Also the astro van and 96-04 Mustangs did as well.

In my case I found a Cummins ram. If I remember right it had the 6.7l cummins. I took the lines hydroboost and master cylinder.
Now the fun begins.

I scrapped the master cylinder and used the adapter plate to mount the master cylinder I had already.

Also reclocked the canister by modifying the firewall mount.
I had to make a longer pushrod from the pedal to the hydroboost. Simple job with a lathe.
I thought I posted a thread about it at forabodiesonly but didnt find it.

There are a few threads on hydroboost over there.

Thanks any pics would be great to see. Is it done? If so how well does it work with your PS?

It's done.
I want to upgrade to a bigger bore master cylinder from the 15/16 bore but have not chased it down.
When I jump on the brakes now I can almost kiss the front windsheild like any modern car
I run disc brakes all around with my own rear disc brake kit on the 8 3/4 and viper brakes up front.
I did not take any pics when I was doing the modifications. I only have pics of it installed now.

I read somewhere that brake boosters need at least 13 lbs of vacuum to operate. Last time I tried setting the idle on the center carb (440) that's all there was. Is there supposed to be more?

I've done some research and plan on making the switch eventually, everyone I've seen do it loves it. There's quite a few options now and the price has dropped dramatically, some do their own using Astro van setups as well. My advice to anybody in the middle of a build is to do it now if your even thinking about it.

I went with the Tallon unit and Wilwood MC. I have no complaints, my car stops on a dime with great pedal feel. If you go with Tallon they have 2 options for the engine side firewall plate. I ended up going with the smaller (E-body?) version and very happy I did.

I did the install with the dash in the car and it wasn't terrible but the Tallon has captured bolts in the engine side plate, so getting the nuts on under the dash was by far the worst part.
