Is there any use to keep the fender tag? I cant see a reason to keep it. It was a 318 poly car with nothing special. I will be keeping the rearend as well as the Kmember and all of the front parts. Pretty much whats left is a rusted out body with a good roof. Its a 1966 Belvedere 2 hardtop. It was a light yellow car.

69Coronetrt collects fender and vin tags and has quite the data base. I have sent him some myself. Better than throwing them in the trash imo.

Wish I was closer. I'd love to cut the sail panels off for my 67.

Get your sawzall out and cut the top off. If you have a place to put it, it could bring a couple of hundred down the road. Consider rusty vinyl top cars.

I wanted to cut the roof off but I really have no place to store it. I'll take the tag off tomorrow before I haul it off. I really hate to see the roof go but I dont have time to remove it. I can remove the vin too. The car is nothing worth repairing. Not sure what the scrap yard will say about it not having a vin though...

Also scrapping a few sets of mopar drum brakes from the roadrunner and a 71 satellite. Just need to get it all gone. Sad...

My 67 was rusted like you said. I know how they can be worth something. This is my old 67 after putting a 67 coronet roof on it. It was a real pain to get the car on the trailer with no Kmember lol. Got it done though.

All that is left from the scrap run.

Did you keep any of the trim around dash-headliner (chrome), front seat belts?

I have the chrome that runs down both side of the headliner, the front piece that was green above the windshield. I have a set of belts but they are not in the best of shape. Hell they may not even work. I have not tried them. Also have both A pillar covers some of the rear glass inside chrome. A couple pieces were not worth saving.
