7 miles from my house. No motor. Some rust. Wish I had the money to buy it.

Looks like a Charger in front of the Bee. What are the asking prices?

The charger is sold. My buddy bought it. He wants 14 k for the bee I think. Bit on the high side but ...he’s a good friend that’s getting older and selling some stuff.

I agree with you. No motor and $14k. Sorry Charlie - what about the rest of it - interior and so forth?

how is the B for rust?

It’s all there except the engine. 383 car. Trans in the trunk. Has title. Been outside so it’s normal faded and dirty. Set for 30 plus years probably

I think the quarter panel has rust up by the rear window. Not sure about the rest. I think a fella could put a motor/trans in it. Clean it up n drive it

I’d say $9 -10k. But I’m no expert on project cars - others will chime in for you.

I really can’t afford it right now. Just thought I’d share it. If it was crazy low price like 3 k or something I’d already have it but oh well. I have others to fix up

car is in original paint and is a N96 car?

14K might not be a bad deal if it's solid and otherwise complete

This car has "preservation restoration" written all over it. It would probably need typical metal...trunk floor, bottom quarters, back corners, trunk lip, around rear window, rocker patches, etc. This awesome SBee needs to be saved from further rust. Completely disassemble, put on rotisserie, high pressure heated wash in ALL the nooks and crannies and degrease bottom. Polish the original paint and spot paint the new patches, only replace unusable soft items, clean, clean, clean. Probably new steering and brake components, find date coded engine/tranny and rebuild, Wow! who ever gets this car will hopefully have fun and work hard to make road worthy, safe ! We just did this to a 69 Charger 500 and will be driving it across county to the 50th Aero reunion in Alabama.

Nice find! I just will never understand it why people let these rust away for years and not sell them off.

Because people are dumb ********. They would rather something rought to pieces than make what something is honestly worth in its current state. Dreaming, that somehow someway some other idiot is going to come along and offer tens of thousands for a car that is only worth 4-5 thousand at the very most. If you think something is so damn valueable, why don’t you find a way to put a roof over it ? I understand waiting for the right moment to sell. But, what are you waiting for ? For it to get to a point it’s not worth 2 thousand bucks ? These cars in this condition are valuable. But, people think they are tens of thousands valueable. Idiots

Kinda like a new vehicle. They are so expensive because people buy them for more than my house cost. It’s stupid.

Some people don't sell because they enjoy having something that other people want but can't have.

Nothing is closer to the truth. That there without a doubt is the very largest reason people hold onto this kind of stuff. Related, they don’t have the drive physically or financially to fix a car up themselves. That they have dreamt of owning in a restored state. Therefore, jealousy plays a large role in some sellers state of mind. “ I can’t fix it up, nobody will.” Stubbornness and jealousy

This guy fall into I plan to fix it in retirement with my kids and his kids don’t have any desire for old cars. Like so many it’s all about tech. So he decided to sell. He’s already got rid of 2 68 chargers and a 69 charger. He drives a 70 440 Challenger and has a 68 hemi satellite in the garage. But he loves them and isn’t giving them away. He never planned to sell

I understand and agree with that state of mind too. Buyers are ********, too. Everyone wants to give you a few hundred bucks for them, lol ! I wouldn’t let them go for nothing either. They would rot. Problem with this kind of stuff. People aren’t understanding and reasonable on both sides. When selling is involved. Things get accomplished by thinking of the other guys position and being reasonable. But, most people have it *** backwards. They only think of themselves. Sellers get bad raps, but I find in most instances its actually buyers that are the ones that are more unreasonable.
