Awww Shucks. I was just having a little fun with Ed. Don't mind brightening someone's day especially a good ole southern boy like him.
He didn't tell you the whole story...
I went on line to their store to see what options they had. Well there was an ordering page for the chips that he mentioned and I selected "2" 8oz bags. Then selected the "checkout" to see what the total would be with shipping. It wasn't that bad and it saved me from going to the store, boxing them up, taking the box to the P.O.
So a few days later he received them, contacts me and says "You shouldn't have bought that many! What am I going to do with all of these chips???" Then I looked at the picture he attached and they had sent him "2" Cases of chips! Ten bags in each case!
I was just wanting to have a little fun, now I'm thinking I'm going to end up paying for two cases of chips! So I contacted them, told them the whole story. The girl I was talking to says you can't order individual bags, only cases. (Well I did and the amount was for just two bags not the cost of two cases) So she's going to have to call me back, oh boy, here we go!
She called me back in about ten minutes and says "Tell your friend to enjoy his chips!" There was a problem with their ordering format on that particular item and it's being taken care of so it doesn't happen again.
I contacted Ed, told him the story. All is well and nobody is getting arrested. I told Ed, "You have to watch what you wish for! Lol"
It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy! In stead of "Chips Ahoy" it was "Chips Oh Boy!"
