Thanks for posting! I have GOT to get there someday.

There’s some seriously sweet rides at the show. Never been. Too far for me to travel. Thx for the snapshot of what it’s like Kid. Looks like a lot of fun! Love, the drone shot too!
Too far? One of the guys on FABO drove from San Diego out there and another one flew in from Australia. No such as too far.

I’ve been getting some static because I said it’s too far for me to travel - what I meant to say is I sold my GTX and I’m going thru separation anxiety and I have a difficult time at least for now looking at all these great rides. I’ll get over it with some good therapy......

see, you looking at this all wrong, what you do is fly out to Carlisle, buy you another and drive it back!

First of all. I want to seriously apologize and sympathize for not coming over to the tent and meeting members. It really bothers me that I did not get to meet so many of you that were at the show. I however did get to meet @72Satellite (packing up at his car getting ready to leave), and @HEMI-ITIS (just arrived after I saw nobody was at the tent Sunday). It's not that I did not want to meet everyone because I really did. It's just that I was busy helping out a friend of mine at his swap meet spot most of the weekend, and met some of the c-body members (because I am also on c-bodies only). Then I had to vote for cars. It was just a big crap show. I even wanted to meet and get a photo with Chris Jacobs and have him sign my Barrett Jackson t shirt, then go to the A12 seminar to learn more about those cars and could not even do that. Trust me I am not making excuses. Hell, I hardly even got to look at the showfield. I saw very very very few cars. I made an effort and walked over to the tent at about 1:45 in the afternoon on Friday and nobody was there, then at 10 in the morning on Sunday and nobody was there. Again I am very sorry. Definitely next year though.

That's my b-body buddies pink roadrunner in the 5th picture in post 13. It's 1 of 44 made. It was rescued in 2006 from a salvage yard. My buddy bought it in 2014 and just completed the restoration. He won 1st place this year.
got an close up pics?

Trust me, I understand. I was trying to split my time between showing my car, being at my vendor spot, coming to the FBBO tent at the meet-up times, voting for cars, walking the grounds looking for parts, looking at cars, hanging out with my father-in-law, etc. Wow, it is a lot to take in!

The main thing is that you hopefully enjoyed it!

Sounds like you were pretty busy as well. It is a lot to take in, in a matter of 2 days. I say 2 because Thursday is set up day and Sunday is go home day. It just sucks I hardly got to see anything. I however do have a few pictures of a few cars

Here are some of my 2019 Chrysler's @ Carlisle photos. Thursday travelling to the show. More to come

Looks like this used to be an old gas station. Believe this is on 15. (The main way to go to the show) It is great that the building and history of it still stands. But what a shame nobody is using it.

Here are some hotel car pictures. These were cars that were staying at our hotel for the weekend. I have more photos of hotel cars that were staying at the hotel next door. Literally within walking distance that I will post later.
