Not that I really care, but are those 'not mine' threads which show a car for sale on another site no longer allowed? I've clicked on a couple in the last few days to find them completely shut down and gone soon thereafter...or did they piss piss someone off with their content and I just missed it..

people love to start bickering in them so sometimes they get pulled cause of that

I shared a vehicle for sale on another site, you wouldn't believe what happened! It turned into a total pissing match about the interior being all borked up, to the cameras screwed up lens distorting the pic, water damage, etc. etc. I had no idea that that would happen, I finally told the 2 chowderhead's to knock it off, that I'm just sharing a Ad and there's no need for this. That's another reason why I'm getting really fed up with social media, nothing but a bunch of idiots!

Another point worth noting - if someone wants to share those adverts ...it's fine. But please follow the guidelines which have been posted here on numerous occasions -

1. Mark the thread quite clearly ***Not Mine
2 Post up Pictures and text from the advert - don't expect someone else to do it
3. Be aware that the posted link to the original advert will disappear - out of our control.

It does get tiresome having to edit these averts where members think it's OK to just drop a link and let everyone search for it. remember these adverts (Craigslist etc) will disappear, and render the thread on our site worthless. If the text and pictures are posted up to begin with, then we have a reference point and information for as long as we need it.

Okay thanks! I understand Joey's response about the drama that ensues, but this makes sense too.
