Ok this is not a mopar question but an LED question.

I'm installing all new LED lights on this box truck. I get signals I get stop lights. But I get no signals when the headlights are on. A friend mentioned that you need an LED turn signal relay. Is that right?

Worth a shot. Just ask for an electronic flasher. Two pin or three, whatever you need. They're cheap enough.

You will need a special LED flasher unit. For my indicators to work correctly I had to fit a flasher unit that had an earth lead. Another thing I found out is LED bulbs are also polarity sensitive.

Yes, you should need led flashers. Also make sure each led light has its own ground.

Will update when I get it going. Thanks for the info.
