Do you have any phobias?

I mean everyone is frightened when they step on a Copperhead snake, but do you have any unusual ones?

When I was little I was in the toy aisle of our local Woolworths. They started to turn out some of the lights to signal they would be closing soon. I couldn't find my mom and i guess I thought I was going to be locked in.

To this day when stores start to dim their lights, I get weak in the knees.

Back in the day, some other Marines thought it would be funny, not to let me out of a tank, I was checking out. Shortly thereafter, I realized that elevators were the same thing,,except they didn't go BOOM!

Interesting topic. I initially had a few answers, but they were normal, or “easy”. Pretty much the same **** everyone else is scared of: bees, snakes, anyone that looks like Woopie Goldberg or Rosie O’Donnell.
But here’s one, and this is some strange ****: I could not clean my belly button. I’m serious. The thought of touching it made me nuts. I could not. It wasn’t about pain or discomfort or anything, I just could not touch it. I would have to have a detachable shower head and pretty much pressure wash it. I was like that for probably fifty years. Could not touch it. Drove me crazy, because I could not figure out why.
Then one day about five years ago I just did it, I got in there and dug and scrubbed. Hasn’t bothered me since.
Strange but true.

My mother, when driving if she ever came to a bridge you could not get her to look off the bridge. It was always straight forwards... Till the day she passed I bet she never looked off a bridge.

I'm a little bit claustrophobic with small closets especially if somebody blocks my way out. Also cars that have doors that stick makeing it harder to get out bothers me to the point to where I want to beat the damn thing off the car! But I have a new one as of tonight..... I'm now afraid of KDs member growing to the point where it reaches my home and engulfs it! However I do still own a couple guns I could probably use to take care of that mess......

I don't know if it can be considered a phobia but I get uncomfortable in a small car.
I'm not a huge guy but cars like the VW Beetle, Mini Cooper and 70's Datsuns and Toyotas feel way too small for me. I get angry and irrational in them and just want to get out.
I've been around swarming bees, worked up high in the air with mechanical lifts, walked atop walls 16 feet or higher, dated a Hispanic woman, operated tools missing critical safety guards and rarely get scared. I LOVE bridges!
I do not like hearing of people my age or younger getting sick and dying. I immediately think of my own mortality. Maybe that is my main phobia?
