They forgot step 6.......make sure the fridge is always stocked with beer for when working on those winter projects on your car. Also for when the neighbors come over to shoot the BS and solve the worlds problems.....

It says...Change oil before storing AND in spring after first drive? Ya ok.

No mention of fuel stabilizer.

I notice several comments regarding mice repellant/prevention as well. Those little buggers have done more damage than forgetting to address half the other concerns in the article! Myself, I like to put mint plants, which are planted around my shed and barns, in some small plastic (recycler bags) bags and throw them in the interior, trunk and one under the hood. It does seem to repel the mice because it is pungent to them. Much better than using mothballs which reek forever and repel everyone!

Mothballs do not bother rodents. Mint, or better yet, essential oil of mint, will keep them away.

I was told a really simple and effective trick for keeping the lokes of moths & silverfish out of your closets and cupboards/drawers etc.

Builders and cabinet makers have used this trick for years....build in a few panels of Cedar into the timber work.
No need for additional poisons or deterrents...cedar has some in it that repels the pests.

If you have a few boards laying around...place them in you wardrobe and try it out. It works.

The winter months in Florida are very nice. Hit a lot of shows in the Jacksonville area during Jan. and Feb.
