And, it's one of the biggest manufacturer of cars in the world ( sadly).
But it's 'French' cars

it's about the $$$, dealers & distribution "world wide" I'm sure
the cars suck, they're French

sorry to the French, but it's true

allegedly Peugeot is worth $82.96 Billion in revenue, US$'s

Found this picture of a Renault looks like its a snow plow/ street cleaner. Honestly ya cant bash them too bad they have been doing Rally cross in these cars for years.

I had a '63 version of that exact car back in the '80's.

French influence might bring a refinement, and increase in quantity of reverse gears in a transmission....:poke:
A refined reverse will get you home.....if the engine runs.

I had two years of French in high school.
About the only thing I can remember is the teacher.
She had strawberry blond hair.:)

REN-ALT. Became Ray-Nu. Worse thing about a Lemans wreck was waiting for a French ambulance or Fire Truck.

One of the more successful cars Chrysler made was the LH/LX series which has its roots in the Eagle Premier, built by Renalt/AMC.

My wife owns a Renault fluence 2014 and let me tell you what do they bring, CRAP, useless cars, quality problems, bad engines and transmissions bad paint jobs, terrible customers service, the crankshaft seal fail at 45000 km and the dealer told us it was our fault, what ? how does a seal of this importance fail so soon, anyway, this week the car show in the screen this message "possible engine break stop immediately " and of course the engine stop leaving my wife in the middle of the traffic, it turns out that the wire harness from the spark plug coils to the computer have " mini cracks" and the harness must be changed or... use a plastic belt to tight up the bulk conector, a 2 cent repair and my wife in panic, POS cars that's what they are, including the F1 engines and cars too.
Lol....indeed. My wife is from the UK.....lots of issues with that brand.

Oh man, everyone has produced a lemon or two over the years.....but this company seems to do it over and over and over.......
Agreed my first Chrysler endeavor was a 1987 Plymouth Sundance. Biggest POS I ever owned. Such a lemon I actually filed a suit against Chrysler. (lemon law)Owned that car six months and moved on. Said I would never own another. But of coarse I have owned a bunch since then.

Just about everyone I know including my dad got at least one junker from ChryCo. Most were first time buyers too but I've never had one and owned one of those K cars too lol. It was an 88 Shadow and it was an ok car. Ford was the one that was crappy for me and it was a 66 Mustang Fastback. Wasn't new but some stoooopid stuff broke on that car. It never broke down but it made me think I was about to die in it when the pedal rack came apart after a street race. Maybe a higher power was trying to tell me something. It did that twice too! After fixing it the first time with 'genuine' Ford parts I fixed it my way the 2nd time but by then, my love affair with it had died. There was something that wasn't right with that but I couldn't find what it was.....

It was such a cool car too. Bright red with black accents blacked out windows stainless trim on the lower doors with big black letters that said Plymouth. 2.2 turbo and 5 speed standard. And everything that could go wrong did. Went to a drive through car wash and all the paint on the front clip started coming off. The engine would pulse at highway speeds. We went to a drive-in one night and the audio quit. So I started honking the horn thinking it was on them. I noticed no one else was doing that. I rolled down my window and could hear the movie playing in the car next to me. Embarrassed we left. Took the car back again the whole audio system had burnt up. ( it was supposed to be one of there better systems for that year) The dealer had the car more than I did for the first couple months so we made them buy it back. Problem was they had sold our trade in. It was 13years before I bought another vehicle from Chrysler. But I have owned 5 since then and all great. Chrysler has had a lot of owners since but yes I agree that so far they have all given something in design and technology. I hope that continues. They IMO rule the road in power and design. We absolutely love our 300 C.
