One thing I miss as a kid in the 60-70's was whenever a neighbor brought home or bought a new "American" car the whole neighborhood came down to check it out and compare to others. Now, look up and down your streets. Foreign crap everywhere. We need Motor City 2.O.... Even bring back AMC name and merge Chrysler, GM and Ford if we have to.....

I would love to see AMC come back (it wont ever happen) But I don't want to see ford or GM influence in a Mopar. But agree totally that American cars and their parts should be made here once again. ( again probably wont ever happen)

Probably not, the Renault merger talks have ceased.

Still French's ... pos cars both, and am not saying just because, my best friend has a Peugeot 206, although beautiful design, the engine was a pos, I just sold my wife's Renault's and I lost 3/4 of the initial value, got a credit for a new Vw tiguan, is a huge diff6 in quality.

Just as bad is the Touareg, which I think of as 'toe rag'. Or the Dodge Caravan rebadged as the VW Routan a few years back.
