63 Only

If I remember the Lyden Johnson car ran in the Pittsburgh Pa area. That name sure sounds familiar.

Dodge 440 I saw this weekend.

So many awesome cars in this thread. I am still thinking about pulling the trigger on buying this one.

You would be correct & that picture I think is from pid. The other pictures are from a car that spent most of it's life in canada just wondering if anybody knows anything about it.

Here's a pic of my wagon. Undergoing some major work right now. QA1 K-member, A arms, strut rods, anti-roll bar, Hemi torsion bars, Wilwood 13" discs, Borgeson steering box, Moser fabricated 8 3/4 with 3:55 gears and Traction Lok on a 4 link and coil overs. 440 with Edelbrock heads and 2x4 intake, Lunati cam, Dougs headers, Hughes converter and built 727 with Gear Vendors. Should be back on the road in the Spring.

Non Max Wedge or Hemi early "B's" usually are in the 25 to 30K range non OE. Looks like a nice driver.Only thing I saw was lots of body filler in the lower quarters. As you may know these cars have rust problems in the cowl area. A good photo or two of that area would be nice, best taken under the dash. I've found many that look ok from the outside but are rusty under..
I would think a offer of 20-22K would be in the ball park. Buying from a dealer, the mark up is usually in the 10k range.

Thank you! I'm not well versed on these cars. I don't own a mopar now, but I'm interested in buying something. This car is parked near my house with a for sale sign on it for 22.5k. I will look at those lower quarters and the cowl area. Not sure if the transmission and gear are too much for the street?

Trunk floor looks odd, no ribs in sheet metal, no drain plugs, maybe covered over with bondo. Underhood wiring needs a little attention. A lot of pitting on the instrument cluster and dash trim, stuff that can be hard to find. Look it over closely. Good luck.

I've posted this on other Forum pages here but figured another won't hurt under the 63 only page.
Originally bought as a parts car I only needed a few pieces off of it. I had enough parts left from other projects to get this back on the road. Just so happened that a friend bought a low mileage 70 Coronet and was swapping in a big block and said "You want the 318 and 904?" Oh hell yea,got the perfect home for it. Always enjoyed low buck fun cars and this one foots the bill nicely.Hot Rodded just enough to make some noise.Growing up near Pittsburgh Pa, had to pay koodo's to the local beer that was from our area.

Looks like a fun ride, nice hood ornament! Good save!!

The car was too solid to part out and really didn't cost much to get it on the road. Plus I like the Beater/Gasser early 60's look.

'63 only...great thread.
Here's my Canadian '63 330 wagon.
Been working slowly on this for a number of years now.

My buddy just picked this 63 Dodge up for a steal of a deal. It has a nicely done c.m. cage, fuel cell, racing seats. Sounds like he may just flip it.

I am looking for a left quarter stainless trim piece for a 330 2 door; do you have any spares? Even the piece from a 4 door? Jeff J
