STEELIES

Hello , I am the member that had the wheel centers made to make the 15 inch steel wheels , to mount the correct 10 inch dog dish cap.
What size disc brakes are you running on your car , these centers are 13.25 and will clear the factory single piston disc brakes a lot of guys are using. PM me for more info.
Here is the link to my ad on this site in the for sale section....

The wheel centers I had made are 13.25 inches , which is the same size as the cop wheel center and most any other factory Mopar 15 inch steel wheel center. So if a 15 inch factory steel wheel clears , then a wheel made with my center will clear.

I'm personally a fan of steelies without any dog dishes. I prefer the look of stock steel wheels in body color, black, or maybe even a grey with some nice capped lug nuts to finish it off. It's a simple bare bones kind of look, but I like it. I like dog dishes too but just not as much.

I also painted my dust covers in the front to match body color, and also painted the hubs for a clean look.

Ya don’t get me wrong, your car is fricken amazing. Just my 2 cents on the wheels.

I like both. I went for the Super Stock look so I went with steelies out back and Torque Thrust up front. But I love the look of both. Ron

From the pics, the paint looks pretty good!

I like the black rim and the red on the dodge caps that match the body colour.

Going to have some weld pro stars on it soon.

I had thought about black wheels. I may do that till I get the blue ones repainted.

I like the idea of switching it up once and a while. I might go with chrome steelies out back
Post some pics if you go with chrome steelies. Was thinking the same for mine as a change for a spare set of rear tires, but I do love the Cragers though.

It's all a matter of personal choice. I think the steelies look good on your car.
I had steelies and dog dishes on my '65 when I got it. Had some old Mickey Thompson E-street radials on the back ones.
I sold them and replaced them with Cragars and Cooper Cobras - I kind of wish I would have kept them, but really don't have the room to store them in my 1 car garage.
Personally, I like the look of the Cragars on my car instead of the steelies. Either way, they look better than some of these over size (for the car) wheels that are used today.

Both sets are 15" wheels - the front end is lower on the new wheels as the front end was aligned and the ride height adjusted.

I also love that look. I have several different sets of wheels. Also several hoods, ie plain, with various scoops. I would change colors every 6 month but too much work!!
