Thanks, the for the post but is it hemi or not..
I think its a wedge motor but im not an expert.. ofcourse i hope its a hemi.
Lol

That casting # is indeed for a 426 Hemi. It might be .020" over already in the bores "A" and a ,010" under crank "B". There is also an X, which is oversize valve guides. The valve covers tell the story. Looks like the exhaust was leaking at the flange.

It has no hemi heads on it, i added a picture.
And yes the exhaust was leaking and a lot more also lol so thats why i took it out and going to fix that. Also need a new clutch.
But now.. does it matter when im going to order parts, like fuelpump oilpump gaskets ect.. if its a hemi or a wedge?

Thanks!!

Pull a valve cover, and see if all the head bolts are there. Hemis and wedges use a different head bolt pattern, the top row of bolts are way different (toward the intake). The "m" in your casting number means it is a later casting, after the original run of bigblocks was over, and it MAY have both patterns, I don't know.
Gaskets below the head gaskets, there should be no changes, fuel pump, oil pump, pan gasket, etc. Head gaskets up, you had better know what you have.

Would be interesting to see the casting number of the heads below the rocker shaft. Don't remember any blocks cast with dual head bolt patterns.

The old MP block castings could be used for either, but they were machined for either a hemi or wedge, not both at the same time. You have the wedge version.

Buddy of mine says it's a siamese mega block.
This car is from a friend of mine who is also the thread starter.
This Charger ran awesome and it will run awesome again when it\s all cleaned up and back in the car again.

There is that funny screen name again....
