NC Mopar junk yard

I'd like a better set of Rallye doors he has a few it looks like plus I need 1/4's so a trip would be cheaper
AMD has 72 Charger rear quarters on sale right now, they are on the list of parts that are slated to be discontinued, so you better get them while you can. They fit good too, my friend did all the test fitting for the 71 72 B body pieces.

Been there.

Bought a fender.

Nice guy.

Not gonna get a bargain, but not gonna get gouged either.

Straight and really clean 66 Coronet fender was $300 in 2014.

DVAP quoted me $650 the previous year.

Nice drive in beautiful country to get there from "civilization" too.
I've done business with DVAP for years, used to be a great place to go for parts but since "Junior" took over from the old man the customer service as well as just plain old courtesy has left the building. The last time I bought anything from them was a deck lid that was listed with pics, the long and short of it the deck lid I was shipped wasn't even the same color as the ad plus had some extra "bonus" dents that weren't disclosed. I called and complained but all I got was a smart mouth on the other end about one thing or the other....pissed me off right there. Add on top the TV bullshit and you got some major attitude coming from that place that I just can't stomach. They can keep their **** and take it to the grave as far as I'm concerned. Place of last resort IMO

One thing I don't understand. Granted I'm not from the area but I thought an old junkyard in North Carolina would be like a jungle. Grass 3 feet tall and plants growing out and over everything. That yard shows short grass even under the cars. ???

Desert Valley Auto Wreckers are a Lying Bunch Of CROOKS!!!!

I bought , paid for and had shipped a 1968 Dart that was supposed to be rust free for parts.
When it showed up it was nothing like the description and pictures.
When I spoke with the owner on the phone he made up all kind of excuses for the description and pictures. He refused to return my money and was only concerned with who was going to pay for the delivery and where the car was going to be dropped off.
Never got my money back and never heard from them again.
They don't show their faces at Carlisle any more.

I wonder why???

I bought a pair of 68 Charger cutoff quarter panels from a guy on Craigslist who bought them from DVAP. This was before anyone made reproduction quarters for Chargers. They had pinholes in the lower sections, but were better than anything else in New England. The reason the guy sold them to me was because he ordered rear quarters for a 55 Chevy, and they shipped him 68 Charger rear quarters! They would not refund his money even though they shipped him parts for the wrong car! He said that they were 100% wrong, and would not correct the problem! Real D bags to deal with!

OK, I'll add that after I got back up off the floor after getting their (DVAP) price quote, I emailed them, politely telling them that was too much for me, and their response was a condescending "good luck finding these anywhere else".

I probably should have sent them a pic of the rust free pass side fender I found the next month, delivered for free to the Melbourne show for $175.
