As the season approaches, and the Virus upon us, folks are wondering about what will happen this year, and what won't ? Let's Hope and Pray that this all passes, and we can get back to life, as we enjoy it. If you are registering for the Show at Carlisle in July, Please add FBBO as your Club. We had a tent on the Show Field, to meet up at, and relax a bit also. We were short on members last year to get it for free, but everyone stepped up to cover the cost, along with several members going out of their way to provide tables & chairs, at their own expense. As of now, the tent has not been reserved, so just looking for a show of interest in getting it together again this year. I know a lot of you are waiting to see what happens, so we'll see where this goes. Thanks to All, and Stay Safe, Healthy, and Positive towards Our Road Through This...

I plan and going , took a vendor space but forgot the club affiliation. Can I still do that?

Detroit Auto Show, scheduled for June just got cancelled.
Turning the venue into a hospital.
Maybe outdoor events will continue?

I will be going to the show as well but I am registered under my car club already. I also have parts and other things for sale too that can be delivered to this show, please let me know if anyone is interested in anything listed. Here are the links for them here. Thanks.

Thanks for getting this going - man the time has flown!

I said last year that I would reserve and pay for the tent in the hopes that we will have 20 registered FBBO members (if not, we can do a collection like last year). I will go to the Carlisle site and reserve the tent. If I can do it on-line it will be today. If not, then it will be tomorrow.

Last year, I was a bit rushed. Maybe this year I can have a grill and an open dinner possibility. I hope to also increase and do some more planning for events - of course I am open to all suggestions and help. Just brainstorming at this point, but first let's get the tent!!!

I just went to the site and did NOT see how I can register the FBBO tent. If I missed something, please send me the URL. Otherwise I will call tomorrow.

Hey Hawk, Hope you're well. Ed Buczeskie is the Gent to get in touch with. I have the Club Leader Tent info, if you send me an e-mail to get it to. I'll check back in later, Thanks !

Dan, I think if you give them a call, they'd let you add it. Ask for, or mention Ed Buczeskie, and give it a try, Thanks.

You request the tent through ED for the Sites, the gaurantee attendece or be financialliy responsable.
If all the sites combine, they might be the largest club!! BTW,,,,all the sites should be together and we get a huge TENT!!!

That is a great idea Al, and I agree that all the sites will be the largest. I would love that if all the bodies only sites merge and become one, however FCBO is not on the clubs wtf. I may write to Ed about that to see what he says.

I spoke to Ed about amending the club affiliation to 2. Your local club and our online club. Carlisle Events nixed that idea............:(

Dan, Hawk and all of the others who plan on attending this year, I will attempt to help like I did last year in the same fashion. With the impact of the virus, we will not know the direction of the show and the activities until I imagine mid June. Hopefully things can be resolved rather quickly and life will be able to return back to a more normal style.

I would imagine that Ed and the Carlisle staff members are pretty much like many others in PA working from home if possible. I am sure that they are monitoring emails and returning phone calls.

The scheduled July date is just over 100 days away and will be quickly upon us. Until a definite decision is reached, we still need to plan as if the show goes on. I know that I personally have no desire to be attending the event if no conclusive evidence is available that the virus has not made a dramatic decline and the health officials feel that it is safe to venture out once again into groups. But we can still make plans for the event in the hope that things show much improvement.

So just let me know what way that I can be of assistance. Everyone stay safe and hopefully we can put this behind us and enjoy the largest Carlisle ever!!

Thanks,
Richard

It's a wait and see for me. If we get the green light before hand, I'm there. I might play over on South Mountain on Friday this year then show up Saturday at the show. That's what I would like to see happen anyway. :)

What about the kickoff show and the fairgrounds Friday morn.I don't leave till well after lunch.
C'mon KID!!

I'm game for that too. I'm just hoping this thing breaks and they allow it to happen. There's always a good Mopar show in Hagerstown Md in May. Don't know the status on that either.

I’ll be there but not likely to sign up until all this clears and we’re closer.
