I was at a buddy's the other day. He's a retired Chrysler employee. Years ago he built this aluminum 511 motor it has 890 horse. He now builds mopar transmissions for people. The trans parts on the table, in front of the motor were over $1500. Just thought members might like to see the pics.

It would probably be best to get the info first hand. If you like, pm me your contact info, and i'll give it to him. I hadn't intended for this to be sales ad. I just thought members would like to see the pics. He's not even aware i posted them here, yet.

I'm not certain of the exact asking price, or what all it includes. I know its far less than he has in it.

yes do that , if you want . if he wants i can pm my phone # as well .
I just called Doug. It is posted on facebook by Mike Young, on Doug Sloans page. If you can't find that, send me your info, and i'll forward it. He did say, the exact asking price posted is $17,200.

I would say it's a deal. I have 26K in my 540 low deck Indy aluminum street motor. Dynoed at 765 HP/753 Ft Lbs. MM built it 4 years ago and it's been on the engine stand ever since waiting for the car to get done. I really want to hear it!
