Vinyl Top Replacement Alt?

View attachment 951556 My SSP has a stained white vinyl top and I know I can replace it but I’d rather not because of the price and time. Are there any temporary alternatives that will just make it look better? Picture does no justice to the stains

Years ago I had a 73 Charger with a white top. I would use Wesley's Beach white on it then protect it with a vinyl protectent. Worked well.

Or you can paint it with the proper paint. This Dart had overspray on it when it was painted. The shop ruined it by trying to remove the over spray. I had another shop vinyl die/paint it.That was back in 96 and it still is good today.Oh, it was a street car for more than 10 years before making a race car out of it.It has seen it's share of daily use.

Lately around the house I’ve been finding Mr. Magic Eraser works on almost everything! From a white sink, whitewalls on the car, to ink marks on the newly wood lacquer coated table I just redid. You would have to follow up with a conditioner to not let it dry out. I’ll try it tonight on my roadster and let you know the results!

Well you could paint it with white plastidip spray paint. If ya didn’t like it it you could take it off. If it got dirty you could paint over it again and again. Its rubberized so it would be water proof and protective.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser followed up with some Surf City top cleaner and conditioner. Not bad at all! When I get a chance, I’m doing the whole top!
