Adding meta tags (meta description, meta keywords etc) are not going to help. Text (words) on the page will bring visitors.
Mike, you may find this interesting. And even with my ignorance in this field, i may have found the root cause, of my lack of traffic. I had a call today from a go daddy rep. According to her, my google biz profile card is/ was not filled out. I presume they deleted my info for searches, due to that.It is true that paid listings go first, but depending on your Title element (the title displayed on the browser), content etc, you should be able to "rank". I'm not a SEO professional, but I know a little bit. Could you post your site and what "keywords" are you trying to be found in the search engines?

I meant, i think google deleted my biz account, due to their card not being filled out. Resulting in my not showing up, on google searches.Unlikely. GoDaddy doesn't control search engines. Honestly, I don't care for GoDaddy.
If you haven't created a Google Account for you business, you should.
