Carlisle 2020

Hey Men,
At 2:45 this afternoon, Carlisle's Public Relations Director Mike Haglund got on the loud speakers to announce that the Judge had directed the panel of Pennsylvania Health Department to drop the cease and desist order, and that all appeals would be denied.
That announcement was met with cheering and applause, as the 25,000 of us had just received the checkered flag !!!!!
Carlisle then blasted "We Are The Champions"
Over the loud speakers, and we were all singing along.....
Bring on Chrysler's @ Carlisle......
Yours, Craig.......

Yup, heard that the Judge basically told Wolf to shove it where the sun don't shine....
Sideways....
With sand.....
:upyours:

The owner's of Carlisle Events are owed a YUGE thank you from all of Motorsports.
They've just set the precedent, now let's get on with the remaining Race/show season.

EXACTLY!!!!!
It is time to LIVE our LIVES !!!!!

Carlisle is 82 acres, Outside, 4 days show, 12 hours a day.... There is plenty of social distancing, and everyone is acting intelligently....We are far more healthy here than at your local Walmart or supermarket !!!!!

It is time we have our freedom, our rights, time to breathe fresh air, and regain our Sanity....

Bring on Chrysler's @ Carlisle..... Amen......

Hopefully this also clears the path for all the rest of the car events in PA for the rest of the summer too!

I posted this on another post here about Carlisle but figured I would ask you Is it worth going to tomorrow? I heard only 40% Vendors are there but are they already packing up and leaving... My son buys Dewalt tools and don't know if they are even there.. It's $100plus to go before I purchase one item 4 admission tickets $35 in gas $20 tolls... Don't want to waste my time if it's emptying out...

Quickbpbp,
Keep in mind --- the guys who never showed -- Ausley Chevelle, Hubbard Impala, J & W Nova, Steele Rubber, Bumper Boyz, Tri City Plating -- those few people take up 80 spots....
A lot of little guys didn't show --
And all of that means only about 40 % of the overall spaces are occupied... Very few, actually, packed up tonight and left, I tooted around the field,
I would say, you may want to take the trip... I am six hours from home -- and tomorrow is my day # 5 here !!
I would think there would be enough vendors here for you, that it might be okay ?!?!? I would hate to steer you wrong, but it is FAR from empty --- it is NOT like the "new" (Totally Useless) Sunday in here !!!!!
If you make the trek, good luck in your quest... Might be a good day to get out and regain your sanity !!!!!
Yours, Craig......
(I am at I I (Aye Aye) 118 - 119... If you come, stop by and say hello, in your travels through the fairgrounds!!!

Hey, one other thing,
When they halted all activities at 9:00 A.M. for the playing of our national anthem,
No one moved a muscle or kneeled down.....

This was a week of respect, honor, friendship, fresh air --- and a return to sanity...Amen.
GOD BLESS us all....... Yours, Craig....
See ya @ Chrysler's @ Carlisle.... H107 - H 108.......

With the concession stands going to to be a **** show this year, What are you guys thoughts on bringing a small grill and doing your own thing behind the car? Haven't seen much of this? Is it even allowed? I was thinking a small propane travel camper grill, a couple coolers for some food and Beer!!!

I have been bringing and cooking on a grill since I first started vending in 2003
Will your car be in the show field?
I live in my vendor spaces from Tuesday until Sunday when I pack up and leave never had an issue cooking or sleeping there.

Yes, I will be in the show field..

Yeah, you can cook on the show field, just be aware of your neighbors. You should have enough room to move, I think the show field will be at 75% or less. I think there’s a B Bodies Only club tent. You’ll just have to bring enough to share.

I will plan to bring a Weber charcoal grill and charcoal to the FBBO tent, and we can perhaps have a cookout Friday night. I will post more detail in the next couple of days.
