Hello im trying to find out if a 71 -72 road runner hood will interchange to a 73 satalite?

I have seen 73-74 on a 71-72 several times, so I would say YES.

It will fit but doesn't line up with the header panel. 71-2 is flat across the front and 73-4 isn't.

Fits and closes, but as stated, those 2 body lines don't match.

It's only 3/16ths though.

Google enough and you'll find pics.

Usually it's a 73/74 hood on a 71/72, though.

I put a 73 RR hood on my 72 Satellite SP. Just the two front corners were a little higher on the hood then on the Cowl. I made two small Pieces that I bonded on the cowl and customized them to flow with the two raised corners of the hood. Looked like the hood was made for the car. Worked great.
